No/low monthly fees

Many vendors offer peer-to-peer fundraising platforms with no (or minimal) monthly and implementation fees. They make their money in the transaction fees. Even then, many offer donor-covered transaction fee functionality to help offset platform costs.

These platforms are a great way to dip a toe into peer-to-peer fundraising, experiment with a new campaign idea, or run a successful campaign for years to come.

Key features

Most of these platforms include the following features “out-of-the-box” (but be sure to verify with each vendor that these features are included):

• Ability to have participants register and set up a personal page
• Ability for participants to create teams
• Basic reporting and data exporting capabilities

Note that normally, the platform’s name will appear in the URL, so be sure ask about this if it is important to you that the platform’s name is not in the URL.
